High Performance Reflective Materials
A) HIGH PERFORMANCE (GLASS GRANULATE) REFLECTIVE MATERIAL
These are the reflective materials with embedded optical elements in transparent plastic, which have sticking surfaces behind by means of heat (through vacuum applicator) or pressure (hand roller, etc.)
High performance (glass granulate) reflective material is according to Standard ASTM D 4956-09, Class Type III.
B) HIGH PERFORMANCE PRISMATIC REFLECTIVE MATERIAL
Reflective material which consists of cubic corner prismatic optics placed in a flexible transparent film module, with a previously treated surface for sticking by means of temperature (vacuum applicator) and pressure (hand roller, etc.)
High performance prismatic reflective material is according to Standard ASTM D 4956-09, Class Type IV.
High Performance reflective materials, which are used for the production of informative and standard traffic signs, have 10 years lifetime (does not loose reflective property for 10 years) in accordance with the standards of the state roads and international standards.
PLACES WHERE HIGH PERFORMANCE REFLECTIVE MATERIALS ARE USED
On all traffic signs in illuminated environments at the state roads with high speed traffic (sign plate backgrounds are illuminated),
Direction signs (overhead) over the coating on unilluminated state roads, and standard traffic signs on the left side of the road according to the heading direction,
On all signs of all roads with dense traffic,
On all traffic signs on wide and multi-lane roads (such as highways) in dark and moderately illuminated environment,
On large-size traffic signs,
On all traffic signs at the cities with moderate to high lighting and at the suburbs with low traffic,
On all traffic signs which receive little head light due to the position of the sign,
All direction signs at crossroads,
The signs such as passenger signs which are required to be seen absolutely must be manufactured by using high performance reflective materials.
